Planning Board

The Planning Board is a seven member board plus two alternate members appointed by the Mayor. The Planning Board reviews Site Plans, Historic Site Plans and Subdivisions for code compliance and gives final approvals. The Board reviews all current and proposed ordinances and amendments pertaining to Subdivisions, Site Plans and Historic Site Plan Reviews. The Board reviews zoning requests and makes recommendations to the Council for final adoption. The Board makes reports and recommendations relating to the Master Plan and development of the City of Plattsburgh.
