Ausable Chasm

Ausable Chasm has been open to the public since 1870 and is one of the oldest attractions in North America. The Chasm offers nature trails with scenic vistas and waterfalls in which you can go rafting or tubing. Ausable Chasm also offers camping, horseback riding, biking, a restaurant, and a gift shop.

Ausable Point

Ausable Point has natural sand and many campsites. It borders a wildlife management area that offers a hiking trail, as well as water access for canoeists and sea kayakers to explore.

Champlain Boat Works at Snug Harbour Marina

Champlain Boat Works is a full service marina with slips and moorings, lakeside campgrounds, full service repair center, bathroom and shower facilities, handicapped access, laundry, marina store, boat rentals, new and used boat/motor sales, restaurant and dive shop, and internet access.

Cumberland Bay State Park

Cumberland Bay State Park, on Lake Champlain, is a very popular day-use area because of its large natural sand beach and picnic grounds with tables and grills. The park has 152 campsites, a playground and playing fields, showers, food, and a dumping station.

Plattsburgh RV Park is a 112 acre full service campsite located near the city beach.  This campsite features 170 sites with full hook ups, heated pool, clubhouse, showers, laundry, and numerous activities. Plattsburgh RV Park also offers log cabin rentals with fully equipped with kitchenettes.
