(PLATTSBURGH- Tuesday October 24th 2023) -The City of Plattsburgh and the Plattsburgh YMCA launched their partnership to bring recreation opportunities to city youth this fall through soccer and basketball leagues.
186 city youth registered for the YMCA’s soccer program this fall, the majority of youth ages 5 to 9 years old. As the program begins to wrap up for the season, the YMCA has just launched registration for a basketball league for youth in first through sixth grade. These programs are free for youth who reside in the City of Plattsburgh as part of this partnership.
