A Local Law amending Charter Section C-5.4.1 Item B (6) Act as City’s Freedom of Information Law Officer for all records other than Police Records.
Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of Plattsburgh as follows:
(6) Act as the City’s Freedom of Information Law officer, with the exception of Police Records. All requests for records from the Police Department shall be directed to the Police Departments Records clerk and will be overseen by the Chief of Police or their designee.
This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon approval by the Common Council and Mayor and filing with the New York Secretary of State and Department of State.
