Scheduled Temporary Outage:

Tuesday February 24, 2026

Plattsburgh Municipal Lighting Department will require a power interruption for safety on a service upgrade at 37 Flaglar Dr.

Two brief outages will occur from 8:00-9:00 A.M. and again between 2:00-3:00 P.M. Power will be restored to all houses except 37 Flaglar during the hours of 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. This power interruption will allow crews to safely upgrade the service alongside the electrical contractor.

Please be sure that all computer files have been saved and that computers or any other equipment that may be sensitive to this outage have been shut off. Please prepare accordingly.

If you have any questions, please call 518-563-2200 and ask for the Engineering Department between 7 am and 3 pm Monday thru Friday.  Also use emergency alerts- city website https://cityofplattsburgh-ny.gov/ for updates to this planned outage.
