City staff have submitted a list of proposed initial Parks Renewal projects to the Common Council for their review and approval. The list of recommendations was informed by public input and includes much needed upgrades to restroom facilities, refurbished basketball and pickleball courts, walking paths, and playgrounds at various park locations throughout the City.

The Sunrise Rotary Club of Plattsburgh is proud to announce the gift of beach wheelchairs and accessibility mats to Plattsburgh City Beach. These new additions will make it easier for people with disabilities, mobility issues, seniors, and veterans to enjoy the beach and the surrounding area.
The City’s Riverwalk project kicked off at the beginning of May and is well underway with substantial completion of construction expected in late September 2023. The City’s general contractor for the project is Luck Brothers, Inc. and the construction cost is just over $1.6 million.
