Boil Water Order Issued for Clinton Street!

As the result of a water main break on Protection Avenue at approximately 2:00am on Friday, July 26th, there has been an interruption of service and a Boil Water Order has been issued for 47 & 59 Clinton Street.  This Boil Water Order will remain in effect until further notice.

Fox Hill (South Platt Park) Now Open to the Public

Fox Hill (South Platt) Park is now open to the public. The playground has been finished and is open for use but some site work still needs to be completed at the park. HYDRANT FLUSHING TO BEGIN WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26TH!

City of Plattsburgh Department of Public Works will flow fire hydrants in Zone 1 starting on Wednesday, June 26th.  The flowing of hydrants will continue every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday proceeding, until all hydrants in this zone have been completed.  The program will start at approximately 7:30AM and end by 2:00PM on each day.  The streets affected by this may be seen on the hydrant zone flushing map below.  During these times, the water in the system will be stirred up and may be cloudy or rust colored coming out of the faucet.  Residents should avoid washing clothes or bathing during these times.Please use caution when driving by a flowing hydrant and be watchful of the Department of Public Works personnel who will be performing this duty.
