(PLATTSBURGH, NY - Monday October 2nd 2023) - On Saturday October 28th, the City of Plattsburgh will be full of spooks, treats and maybe even a few tricks! The fourth annual Downtown Trick or Treat event will be held on Saturday October 28th from 12:00-2:00PM. The City of Plattsburgh is excited to announce that the Margaret Street construction project will be substantially complete by this time, with downtown roads and sidewalks being open accessible to event goers.
The City of Plattsburgh in partnership with The Z Group Real Estate is hosting the fourth annual Downtown Trick or Treat event where participants can stop by over thirty downtown businesses for a treat between 12PM-2PM. This year’s downtown festivities will feature a Downtown Business Storefront decorating contest, with the winner chosen by the public, a dance performance by Center Stage Dance group, free face painting in Trinity park and more surprises to come! Amanda Dagley from Electric Zee will be set up in Trinity Park DJing a set of spook-tacular tunes! Participants do not have to follow a designated route around downtown but are asked to obey traffic laws and signals.

This event shines a light on the amazing downtown businesses and organizations here in our downtown. With the construction project wrapping up, we are excited to welcome people to Downtown Plattsburgh!”.
The City of Plattsburgh will be transforming Trinity Park into a Spooky Park from 12PM-2PM, where local businesses and organizations that do not have a downtown storefront can participate in handing out treats. Costumes are not mandatory but highly encouraged! The Downtown Trick or Treat and Trinity Park Spooky Park events are free and no registration is required.
