The City of Plattsburgh is excited to announce that it has bolstered its water supply with the completion of our first new (potable) municipal supply well. Water from production well PW-1 will be blended with existing source water (Mead Reservoir and Westbrook Reservoirs) prior to treatment and distribution. Treated drinking water will continue to comply with strictly enforced standards established by the United Stated Environmental Protection Agency and the New York State Health Department.
