Plattsburgh Municipal Lighting Department will require a power interruption for backyard tree clearing as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain power lines and equipment.

The outage will begin at 8:30 A.M and may last up to 6 hours. This power interruption will allow crews to safely perform tree maintenance and clear vegetation around backyard power lines to help maintain system reliability.

Please be sure that all computer files have been saved and that computers or any other equipment that may be sensitive to this outage have been shut off. Please prepare accordingly.

If you have any questions, please call 518-563-2200 and ask for the Engineering Department between 7 am and 3 pm Monday thru Friday.
